About Me

Much like other professional cookie decorators, I found a passion in this art because most other careers simply weren’t satisfying. I get bored easily, so choosing a career that involves a lot of planning, continued learning, and change every day is right up my alley. Interestingly this cookie design stuff didn’t come easily. I can’t draw. My handwriting is atrocious. But when I get a piping bag in my hand, the designs just flow! The first attempt isn’t always beautiful, but that’s why I keep going until I truly love what is on the cookie and I’m proud to say I created it.

Having owned and operated a food truck in a former life and acquiring a Food Safety Manager Certification, I have become a germaphobe, a rule follower, and a crazy kitchen lady. Just ask my husband. He made the mistake of entering the kitchen when I was rolling out my cookie dough. Silly man. The moral of the story is, I take food safety VERY SERIOUSLY. I generally like to keep things lighthearted and I tend to joke about a lot of things, but I never take lightly the safety of people with food allergies and/or compromised immune systems.
